Recipe: Spicy Seafood Salad

Owing to its proximity to the sea and lengthy coastlines, Thailand's cuisine has an abundance of seafood dishes. For versatility we have used a frozen seafood medley easily available in many supermarkets. The dressing can be made in advance and refrigerated until required.


400g seafood medley
1 tbsp red onion (finely diced)
8 mint leaves (finely shredded)
1 heaped tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)

1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
3-4 bird's eye chillies (finely chopped)
1 tbsp Mai Siam Fish Sauce
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp sugar
Combine all the above ingredients and place in a screw-top jar in refrigerator until required.

Cooking Method

Serves 3

If frozen, allow seafood medley to defrost overnight in the refrigerator.

Drain seafood before placing in a glass mixing bowl.

Add dressing, mix well and serve immediately.
