Next Day delivery: This delivery option is made available when both we and our delivery partner have capactiy. We reserve the right to suspend this option at any time if we are no longer able to fulfil orders in a timely matter.

IMPORTMANT DELIVERY INFORMATION: If you would like to use the UPS Click and Collect delivery service, it is your responsibility to ensure that the receiving business is open and accepting deliveries. We do not accept any responsibility if you place your order and have not checked beforehand that the receiving shop is open.

Dispatch of Orders: Please note that if you receive a dispatch email from us after 4pm or at the weekend, your order will be collected from us by the courier the following working day and you can then expect delivery the next working day after that.

We use DPD as our courier to deliver all orders to residential and commercial properties. We use UPS to deliver to UPS Access Points.


DPD Service

We offer a variety of delivery options including Standard (2-4 working days)Next Day, as well as a number of premium services (**COVID-19 UPDATE: these services are currently unavailable**). You will have the facility to choose your delivery option when you confirm your order.

Below are UK mainland delivery costs for purchases up to 30kg weight and under £500.00.*

Deliveries for Saturday or Sunday must be placed by 12pm on Friday to ensure that they are dispatched in time and orders placed at the weekend, will not be despatched and delivered until the following weekend.

For deliveries within the London Congestion Charge Zone, a £0.75 surhcarge will be added to each of the weekday delivery options.

Your actual delivery charge will be confirmed at checkout based on area codes supplied to us by DPD and your destination postcode. By proceeding through the checkout you are agreeing to the delivery charge calculated at the checkout.

Deliveries are shown in working days. If you choose the Standard Delivery option, the next working day after dispatch is classed as Day One. Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays are not treated as working days for delivery purposes unless a Saturday delivery has been selected. Your delivery charge includes packaging.

*Orders over £500.00 are subject to higher charges to account for additional postage and packing costs attributable to orders of this size. Wing Yip Online Store reserves the right to review these delivery charges at any time on a per order basis. 

With DPD, you are able to use their ‘Follow My Parcel’ tool which enables you to track your driver to know exactly when they will be with you. Along with their ‘Predict’ service, you will receive text notifications, if you have provided a mobile number, and email notifications of a one hour time slot when your order is due for delivery. On the day of delivery you will receive a further notification letting you know a fifteen minute time slot. For more information about these services, please click here.


Overseas Orders

Our courier also delivers overseas. Any orders placed where the destination country is not mainland UK or UK Offshore (as defined by DPD) will be treated as an International Delivery.

UPS offer Click and Collect to thousands of their UPS Access Points. We offer a standard 2-4 working days delivery service, currently only available within the UK. You will have the facility to choose your delivery option when you confirm your order.

Below are UK mainland delivery costs for purchases up to 20Kg weight and under £250.00.*

PLEASE NOTE: The UPS Access Point shopkeepers have the right to refuse parcels if they are deemed too large, if there are too many or if they do not have enough space in their shop to keep your goods.

If you are ordering large quantities of goods, specifically 10kg bags of rice and large boxes of containers, we would recommend using the DPD service.


Dispatch of Goods

**COVID-19 UPDATE: we are currently unable to  dispatch according to these timings. Your order will be dispatched as soon as possible**

Next Working Day orders received before 12pm on a weekday are normally dispatched on the same day subject to the size of the order and Wing Yip being able to collect payment.

For Saturday and Sunday delivery options orders must be received before 12pm on the Friday before.

Orders received after 12pm will aim to be dispatched by 4pm within the next 2-4 working days.

Our working days are Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays and an order received after 12pm on a Friday will normally be dispatched by the following Wednesday.

Currently we are unable to deliver to military bases. If you wish to place an order please use an alternative address.

While we will make every effort to deliver the goods by the date stated we cannot guarantee delivery on any particular day.

Delivery and Receipt of Goods

Our courier will deliver your order to the UK delivery address selected by you on your order. Someone (over the age of 18) must be present at the address to sign a receipt for the goods otherwise the carrier will leave a card, they WILL NOT leave the goods without a signature.

You may arrange a second delivery on an agreed day or collect your goods from their depot.

** Note: Please be aware that for security reasons some education establishments restrict the areas on campus that multi-drop carriers are allowed to deliver to. In these cases they will deliver to the campus postroom.

If you have not received a delivery, please get in touch through the contact form on the ‘Contact Us’ page and quote your Order Reference Number and Customer ID.

We always try to provide you with a response on the same or the next working day.

Amendment of Orders

We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time if we have not received payment. You may request an amendment to an order prior to despatch by e-mailing us (enquiries@wingyipstore.co.uk) with your Order Reference Number and your request. Your order will be placed on hold until any changes have been agreed. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an amended order.

Cancellation of Orders and the cooling off period

If your order has been despatched but has not yet been delivered, you may cancel the order by e-mail. The goods will be returned to us by our carrier. You remain responsible for the delivery charge and this will be deducted from your payment before payment is refunded.

Once you receive delivery of the goods, you have 14 calendar days cooling off period. During this period, you may cancel all or part of your order after the goods have been delivered to you subject to the following:

1. E-mail us (enquiries@wingyipstore.co.uk) with your Order Reference Number within 14 calendar days of receipt of the goods and specify the items you wish to cancel. Please use the contact form on the ‘Talk to Us’ page. We will provide you with a Returns Authorisation Number.

2. All goods must be returned in their original, unopened and unused condition together with their original packaging. 

3. Goods must be returned to us within 14 calendar days through our carrier who will contact you to make arrangements. Alternatively, you may return goods, at your cost, to us at W.Wing Yip PLC, 375 Nechells Park Road, Nechells, Birmingham B75NT.

You cannot make a return without a Returns Authorisation Number. You are liable for the original delivery charge and the re-delivery charge and we reserve the right to deduct these from your payment or to recover the same from you. If you do not return the goods to us after cancellation, we reserve the right to collect the goods from you and charge you direct costs of recovery. Refunds will be provided using the same payment type by which your order was made. Please allow 30 days from the date of cancellation for the refund to be issued provided that you return the goods to us within 7 days of the date of cancellation.

We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund if you fail to comply with the above terms.

Defective Goods or Goods Damaged during Transit

If you receive goods which are defective or have been damaged during transit, please e-mail us with details (including a digital photo if possible), as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days. In the event of perishable items, you must notify us as soon as possible. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the damage or defect is caused by you.

Set Offs and Refunds

We reserve the right to set-off any damages or costs which are recoverable from you by us by deducting the same from any refund.
